Dr. Dolores Farrer is a surgically trained podiatrist whose career has focused on lower extremity wound care for over 27 years. She has been certified in wound care by the American Board of Wound Management (ABWM) since 2003. She was the primary investigator in several wound care research projects and currently serves as a board member of the Academy for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC).
Dr. Farrer has worked in private practice, hospitals, wound clinics, and nursing homes. She speaks nationally and enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience as a wound care expert. She is a graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and currently lives in Columbia, SC. Dr. Farrer is VP of Medical Affairs for TherMidas and is passionate about promoting the use of thermography in the prevention of diabetic foot ulcers.
